Sorry about the total lack of everything right now. Been really bummed.

Surgery again. Things get real mighty fast when you're assigned an oncologist. I have a "grape-like" cluster in my face (upper jaw/cheekbone) area. I *think* my consult will be Thurs and surgery likely the following week- we still have to schedule around K's work schedules. The biggest "grape" is 4 cm in diameter and there was more than a few others. I'm also going to be getting a CT scan and cone biopsy of my cervix-- mainly to make sure that my pre-cancerous HPV hasn't turned my abnormal cells cancerous, which apparently may be the cause of the tumors (even though the last was benign).. won't be doing those until after the move though. Jess keeps trying to push me to do it NOW, but I don't want to and it will be SO much more convenient once we're living in town and it doesn't take 8 years to get to the hospital.
I guess govm't help now is pretty much a guarantee..

Keeping this off Facebook because I REALLY don't want my mom to "visit." REALLY. (Can't emphasize that enough!)

Lots going on. Dana's still healing from his last eye surgery. Three of us had the Pig Flu. (Took me about a week to properly get over it, too.) I'm trying to get a cart all set up, we're moving in five weeks and looks like K is about to have three jobs. We've (I've) started purging our uneeded/wanted belongings. Our family acquires SO MUCH SHIT.
I'm getting anxious to get moved and get my yarn stocked up and have regular things to sell. I am feeling SO ready to stay in business for a good long stretch! I figure I'll take customs until I have a few things paid off and then save for bulk dye and yarn. I'm committed now that I have plotted and planned for so long to have a dye studio PLUS work area that I can lock away from the kids. The locked room will mean sewing and painting again- YAY!

My web stuff has been psuhed to the back burner. My immediate goals right now is to get Amanda's HC all nice and shiny then my HC. I made a new blog for the shop, too- kind of want to keep it seperate from personal stuff I guess. I'll share the link once I get it made over and there's actually stuff IN it. I'm thinking I'll put my free patterns in there.
I'm thinking hard on buying a new domain, I'm feeling a bit outgrown of the whole sh0tgun thing.

Knitting-wise I've done NOTHING. When I have two in school and two nappers at home, I should be able to get a lot more accomplished in my day. Don't think I'll begin play foods until then. Doll clothes maybe, too. Start gettng ready for the holiday season. Even things to have on hand for trades would be awesome. I do have some linen stitch bloomers in the works, I'm at the gusset and hoping to finish up this week. Won't be doing any of those for sale, that's for sure- linen stitch kills when you're old and arthitic like me. My needles should be free after these bloomers ( *coughuntil I get those measurements Jamiecough*), so I'm getting happy to be knitting for money for awhile.
I have a few canvas blanks I'd like to get painted and add fabric cut-outs on for the kids' rooms. I was inspired by a craft magazine and plan to alter an idea they had in a project how-to. =)

My health still sucks, but that's depressing so I refuse to elaborate for now. K's getting the BIG V after the move and honestly I never thought I'd feel so GLEEFUL and thrilled at the prospect of doing something so permanent..

I'm never on LJ anymore. Wonder what's up with that. If you haven't added me on Facebook, you should.

So a bit of an update on us. We're back on an about-to-move schedule. The family is FINALLY getting their new home finished up (they got set back due to some major water damage) and we're getting out of here the last week of July. I'm so fucking excited to have cable and high speed internet again.. not to mention pizza delivery and all the other good things that come with not living in the middle of nowhere.
Next week I'm going to start purging. I am disgusted at all the crap we've aquired through the years and I'm feeling intense lust for a minimalist lifestyle.

Dane had another eye surgery last Friday and he's doing well. He might need one more adjustment but as it's so early we're not certain on that yet. Both him and Alma see their doctors tomorrow morning. Wonder how much Al weighs because she's the fattest baby we've had yet, lol. The girl is HUGE- she has a little over a 16" rise and she just turned four months. I make super milk. =D

K's looking for a new job. Remember the salary and crap they promised last summer? Well obviously that's not going to happen. They're taking advantage of his gun smith skills and his knowledge and he has finally realized it. The last straw was when they refused to pay everyone for Memorial Day. He's worked there for over 6 years and they've paid him each Memorial Day for the last 4 years and he's just done. Thank goodness.

I have a new obsession- Twilight! I read all the books, plus the unfinished Midnight Sun draft on the Steph Meyer website in less than a week. I rule. K is really into it too- he's just finishing up the last book. In the 7 years we've been together I've never seen him read so much or so intently, it's awesome to share the Twilight mania with him. ;D
And speaking of books, I've finally started a novel that I've been thinking on for years. Hopefully it will be worth reading, lol. It's based on three different dreams I've had as well as a comic I wrote as a teen and I find myself thinking about the main plot and characters ALL freaking day long. I've finished the preface/foreward as a background intro on the heroine and hope to begin the first chapter today if inspiration strikes.

So that's really it I guess.. I better get back to picking photos to upload- it's been so long and my card was FULL.

Ah, the hypocrisy!

How is this wool different than when I tried to sell my woolies from a for sale post? Remember that?

Not pointing fingers at Mizzy or anything, just confused over the blatant favoritism.

I have no website right now. I'm changing webhosts (it's long and involved but they are trying to screw me out of over $200 when I've been paying the same monthly rate for YEARS) so everything is offline for the moment (ugh). If you're on the lookout for my patterns, try a Google search and then click on cached page and it will take you to it.

Since I began spreading the word I was re-opening, my customs list has been growing quite a bit. If you want to get in on it, give me a hollar before the wait gets too long! Remember I can knit just about anything and crochet, too. =D

(Jamie, I can begin your longies whenever you LMK measurements- you're at the top of the list!)

I'm hoping that since I'm planning giftmas this far in advance I'll have an excellent grip on the holidays this year. It's going to be a little different with a birthday coming so soon after! Not that I'm complaining- all in all our kids' birthdays are really spaced throughout the year quite nicely (N- 9/16, E 5/1, D 8/10, and A 1/22). Dana's and Noah's are a little over a month apart during the worst part of the year for us financially, but we always manage to do something nice for them. I've already filled out all my gift spreadsheets for everyone's next b-days and giftmas. I'm super proud of myself for not having a million things to make for them, so I have confidence I'll be able to get done what I want to do for everyone and have plenty of time around giftmas to do more with them. Not to mention I'm hoping I'll be up to my elbows dyeing yarn and making things to stock @ KnitKnots.
I've come to the conclusion that since we spend a nice amount on them for Easter and Christmas they won't get much from us for birthdays. I certainly never got much for my birthdays gorwing up- at least not from my parents and I never had an issue over it. ;)

K's a little nervous to pull Noah out of school with a little over a month to go in the year. I on the other hand, am not. Out of the two of us, I was the one who moved all around during childhood and had to go to a different school each time. I think by the time my high school career was complete I'd attended over 25 schools! Anywho I think that getting him in the new school for a little while this year will help him when he goes next year. He will be somewhat familiar with the surroundings, maybe actually have friends living closeby where he can play with them, and I think it will be easier for him next school year to have a good idea of what to expect. Which reminds me- Bean is starting K next year and I'll only have two at home during the day. How fun that will be- yet it's bittersweet because my (BIG) baby girl is growing SO fast!
K said he's worried that N will be behind in curriculum. I told him I wouldn't even worry because he's been doing just fine and it's no fault of ours if the curriculum out in the sticks is not as advanced as it is in town. Am I right to feel that way, or do you think he has a good point? At any rate I guess I don't see what harm him changing school in a month could cause.

Bean's baby
I got the Alice doll yesterday and WOW, she's gorgeous. I've hidden her in my closet and I'm sure I'll have fun pulling her out from time to time to measure her for new clothes and knits. Speaking of doll knits, I need to get measurements on her baby doll so I can get a soaker, tank and maybe a shrug or cardigan made for it. I think a nice Waldorf baby, a few knit accessories, cake and balloons will suffice. She's going to be getting loads of other crap anyway I'm sure. Man, then it'll be time to think of Dane's birthday.. I think all he's getting with his party goods is a cool wagon and some sports balls. We have a basketball net at the new house and I'll have to show them my b-ball skillz.

I've been getting excited thinking about the new house. I'm super stoked that time is flying by, but nervous since we have yet to start packing in earnest. We're going to have a spare bedroom since the one room is at the end of the house. Two kids in each room, but the spare will be our guest/craft/misc room. I'm planning on sewing a whole lot this year since I'll have a real, lockable space for my machine and everything! I want to make some quilts, tutus, the kids' H'ween costumes and dabble in some dresses I have patterns for. Yep, sewing will be this year's to-learn craft for sure. My machine is so fun and it even embroiders so I'd like to get going on getting my money's worth out of it, lol.

My jaw hurts this morning. Thank goodness for 6 months supply of pain pills, even if they do make me feel higher than a kite. Lumpectomies are no fun. =\

Posting quick as I only have like 30 seconds here online at the moment, but I wanted to give ya'll a quick update.

Surgery is scheduled for Thursday afternoon. In the am I have a big PO run to make (sold a bunch of D's woolies and outgrown NB fitteds *sniffle*) and I made enough to cover what Al outgrew, a few nice extras for her, and a few hundred dollars to give to Mom and Dad since they are paying for the surgery. I am getting more antibiotics again tomorrow as the infection's back and I still have to have the dumb trasfusion before they put me under. They may have to extract a tooth or a few to get at where the tumor is. Here's the good news.. prelim was WRONG (my slide was switched with someone else's!!!) and the lab result from Raleigh said BENIGN *dances*. You don't even know how relived I was to hear that word! They still have to remove it though because it's a rare sort of tumor that grows/spreads VERY fast and has a 80% chance of coming back if you don't remove it ASAP.. also if it comes back there's a high possibility it will thrive in the lung(s) and 95% chance it will start dysplastic but then turn malignant. So positive thoughts are definitely much needed/appreciated! I don't know how I'm going to make it through Friday and Saturday after the op, but K is off Sunday and Monday so hopefully with the pain neds I can keep these demon spawn in line. ;)

Gotta go, D and AL are screaming for me to come back to bed..

Dana's surgery went great. The whites of his eyes are all red and bloody so kind of weird! He's at Mom an Dad's to get more rest, as I doubt the kids would allow much of that here at home. I miss him terribly though and we're going there tomorrow to pick him up.

In house news.. pretty sure we found our new place! We go to look at it tomorrow (well, the inside- we already drove by it twice LOL) and it's gorgeous. It's not even a 5 minute drive from Mom and Dad, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a garage. I think the square footage (not counting garage) is 2,800 with it it's like 3,200. Will know more tomorrow but I just know that it is IT. =)

Weird happenings. It's snowing and it's supposed to until later this evening.

Nik's (K's co-worker) wife passed away last night, she was just over 50. She was a head nurse at a few local hospitals and had been sick for the last few weeks. She thought she could care for herself. So odd. I hope he gets answers from the autopsy.

Loss of mucus plug for two days now and on and off contrax. I've also been feeling "off." I have lots of hip/tailbone/low belly pressure and odd sensations that radiate into my legs. I'm not used to carrying babies this long so I have no idea if that's just normal or a sign of impending labor. It feels more intense than preterm labor EVER did. No snow baby please!!!

Good thing is K will be here all day with me due to snow.
